MEIGS COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) – Two males have been arrested Tuesday after a visitors cease on state Route 7 turned up medicine, the Meigs County Sheriff’s Workplace stated.
Sheriff Keith Wooden stated it occurred within the Middleport space. A Ok-9 alerted deputies to attainable medicine contained in the automobile. The visitors cease led to a search warrant issued later at one of many suspect’s residence alongside Zuspan Hole Street in Middleport.
Throughout that search, “deputies seized a considerable amount of suspected methamphetamine in addition to digital scales, baggies, and different drug paraphernalia objects.”
Investigators say the suspected meth was divided into separate baggies on the market. Deputies additionally seized two firearms, together with a semi-automatic rifle with a silencer.
Arrested have been Derrick A. Ratcliff, 37, of Middleport, and Allen Michael Hinson, 26, of Cheshire. Ratcliff was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, and Hinson was needed on an energetic warrant.
