BROOKSVILLE — A bar worker shot and killed a patron and wounded one other early Saturday exterior Opinions Lounge, deputies say.
Stanley Matiyosus, 42, was arrested on costs of second-degree homicide with a firearm and aggravated battery with a lethal weapon, based on the Hernando County Sheriff’s Workplace.
The incident came about about 1:50 a.m. exterior the bar at 19201 Cortez Blvd.
The 42-year-old bar worker shot a 25-year-old man and a 21-year-old lady, deputies say. The person died after being taken to a hospital. The girl suffered a non-life threatening harm.
Deputies questioned Matiyosus, then arrested him. The Sheriff’s Workplace didn’t say what led to the taking pictures.
The company additionally didn’t launch the names of the person and lady who had been shot, citing Marsy’s Regulation, a voter-approved modification to the state Structure geared toward defending crime victims.
Matiyosus was booked into the Hernando County jail the place he was being held with out bail.
