Two arrested in fatal Calhoun County UTV crash case


CALHOUN COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) – Two arrests have been made in reference to the UTV crash that killed a 14-year-old lady in Altha almost two weeks in the past.

Florida Freeway Patrol and Jackson County sheriff’s officers arrested Benjamin Harris of Alford and Brandon Harris of Cottondale Tuesday.

Benjamin Harris turned himself into the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Workplace and will likely be charged with felony vehicular manslaughter, felony hit and run, and extra.

Brandon Harris was arrested at his residence and brought to the Jackson County Jail. He was charged with felony hit and run, felony driving whereas license is suspended, and extra.

Jaylynn Jordan was killed on March twenty seventh when the UTV hit her whereas she strolling on Lake McKinzie Drive.

The car was deserted and investigators had been trying to find these accountable ever since.
