3 arrested after deputies break up dog fighting ring in Baker Co.


NEWTON, Ga. (WALB) – Three persons are behind bars after Baker County Sheriff Dana Meade and investigators broke up a dog-fighting ring Thursday evening, in accordance with a Fb publish by the sheriff’s workplace.

It occurred at a residence within the 400 block of Clear Lake Street round 10:30 p.m.

The sheriff’s workplace stated three arrests have been made and warrants are being issued to a number of extra individuals who ran from the world, together with the property proprietor.

Seven autos have been impounded and 11 canine have been seized, with two of them affected by extreme accidents.

That is an ongoing investigation that may lead to extra arrests and seized property, in accordance with the publish.
